Chef Delaney in Oaxaca
Delaney spent a week in Puerto Escondido in Oaxaca, Mexico with Chef Lopez, photo 1, shopping for all the ingredients that go into Mole. They cooked all the ingredients in the chef kitchen at her small hotel, photo 2 and 3. They took the cooked ingredients to the village grinder, photo 4 and 5. They returned to the kitchen to make the Mole Negro (Black), photo 6, and Mole Verde (Green). Photo 7 and 8, shows Chef Lopez serving Mole Verde over local fish and black bean soup on the outdoor dinning room of the hotel.

Chef Delaney in Piedmont, Italy
For one week Chef Delaney worked in a famous restaurant in a small hill town just outside of Alba. The Tournavento (Weathervane) in Treiso is the home of Chef Maurilio, photo 9. The picture is of the chef with Delaney, standing on the patio overlooking the Nebbiolo and Barbera, and Dolcetto vineyards. Delaney's husband, Richard, and translator Phil Isenberg are seen in front of the restaurant, photo 10.
